Who he is

Kadyn is an artist, songwriter, producer and sound engineer connected to the hip-hop scene of Brasília since the 1990s, with experience in freestyle, rap, hip hop, trap and reggaeton. His official Palco MP3 profile places him in Samambaia, Federal District, active since 1997.

The story starts on the street. In 1996, taken by the freestyle sessions in Samambaia Norte, he develops improvisation and timing. The following year he joins the group Realidade Atual — over thirty years on the road and recently active again — and in 1998 wins the MH2O contest, his definitive entry into national rap.

In 2001, invited by Neguim (Pacificadores), he works as an arranger at the BPM and Uzina studios, gaining the technical background that would define the rest of his career.

He returns as a solo artist in 2021, setting up his own studio and establishing himself as a producer and sound engineer — working with names such as Hungria, Pacificadores and Misael. In 2022 he shifts from rap, hip hop and trap to reggaeton in Spanish, opening the international path that led to the partnership with Leo Maverick and, now, to Projeto Afro.

In Reggaeton Tropical

The partnership with Leo Maverick and Amazonia Beats comes from the Reggaeton Tropical project. From 2021 Kadyn joins the cast of that year’s productions and of the Maceió Edition, alongside Real Rycco and MC Bandida — in “Fake”, “Infiel”, “Suzy”, “Perder a Linha”, “Gol”, “Ziriguidum” and “Deu Bom Praia”, the last one above one million views on YouTube (measured August 2026; platform metric, subject to change). All filed with ANCINE.

In Projeto Afro

Kadyn brings both voice and studio. Beyond singing, much of the technical work is his — recording, mixing and mastering — stitching together the vocals recorded in Brazil with those coming from Mozambique.

On “Africa Girl” he shares vocals with Leo Maverick and Medisson Diplomata; his scenes were shot in Brazil. Out 18 September 2026.
